Addiction is an energy looking for a target. It can be alcohol and drugs, and it can be so many other things: perfectionism, trauma or drama, food, the need to be right or wrong, judgment, the internet, and relationships, to name a few.  

Addiction is about making something (or someone) greater than you and using it as a means to escape your very being.

No one needs to suffer from addiction.  There are tools and resources available to create beyond it.
